Chimaeras are cartilaginous fish related to the sharks and rays, and are sometimes called ghost sharks or rabbitfishes. For defense, most chimaeras have a venomous spine located in front of the dorsal fin.

Sheep Gives Birth to Human-Faced Lamb in Turkey

Trust me, happens all the time in West Virginia.
My mother had relatives there. They were so inbred that when they had the family reunion picnics, the three legged race was a one man event for them.

I always thought that a human couldn't impregnate an animal for biological reasons. At least that's what I've heard officially.

Prehistoric shark.

Gracie, are you familiar with any stories of such unidentified creatures in your part of the world?

KT, evolution is not a static phenomenon. Old species are constantly reappearing in the strangest locales, and new ones are constantly interbreeding, mutating, etc.
Just look at the contemporary lore surrounding the Texas Chupacabra (Goat Wolf). Its recent sightings have become far too common -- and documented -- to dismiss as crackpot rantings:

Of course, environmental contamination can also factor into some of these altered and mutated species now evolving, such as the hermaphroditic salmon now spawning in the Pacific Northwest, thanks to infinitesimal (parts per million) contamination of local waterways with birth control chemicals flushed down toilets.
Our world is constantly changing, for better or worse, and its lifeforms are inevitably mirroring that dynamic.

That's very true, but I don't believe that there has ever been an officially documented example of a human/animal hybrid actually surviving birth. I was reading an article about how Joseph Stalin once attempted to create an army of half man/monkey soldiers in the 1920s. All efforts to impregnate the monkeys with human sperm and vice versa failed. The term "Humanzee" is still considered a hypothetical term as far as I know.

According to David Icke, that's what you and I are, KT -- and have been for centuries.
Why did the Native Americans say that there are two wolves inside every human?
And why are most of the ancient god figures depicted as half man/half animal?

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Don't get too consumed with "science", KT. Remember, 500 years ago it postulated that the earth was flat.

There are certainly many areas where science refuses to delve. Science we know hasn't produced any facts in relation to 9/11. I'm also familiar with the work of David Icke. It's very intriguing to say the least.

No, I couldn't accept that. Science has been ignored in regard to 9/11 in favor of propaganda.
Ironically, some of the best science on the topic has come from unexpected sources, such as a theologian (David Ray Griffin).
Incidentally, have you seen this?

When I say science I'm talking about the mainstream, authorized socially promoted version of pseudo-science. What the news calls "science". I own and have read all of Griffin's books.
